VERIFICATION
SIA “national Metrology Centre of Latvia” is accredited to the State Agency “Latvian national Accreditation Bureau” in accordance with the requirements of the standard LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, acquiring the right to perform the verification of measuring instruments as an inspection body of type A and C. Accreditation certificate No. LATAK-I-339-38-2006
FIRST-TIME VERIFICATION
The first verification shall be performed by assessing the conformity of a new non-previously verified measuring instrument with the approved type or metrological requirements before placing it on the market or putting it into use. It shall be performed in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 624 of the Republic of Latvia, Regulations regarding the procedures for Metrological Control of measuring instruments and First verification Marks
RE-VERIFICATION
Re-verification shall be performed for measuring instruments which, in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 289 of the Republic of Latvia, Regulations regarding the List of measuring instruments subject to State metrological Control, are subject to State metrological control, observing Cabinet Regulation No. 981 of the Republic of Latvia, Regulations regarding re-verification of measuring instruments, verification certificates and verification Marks
