The Latvian national Metrology Centre (LNMC), in co-operation with SIA “TILDE” within the framework of the European Centre for Digital Innovation (EDIC), performs a trial of Tilde's smart conversational solution. The solution successfully demonstrates its suitability and delivers significant improvements in efficiency, quality and work organisation.
The project aims to increase the capacity and interchangeability of LNMC civil engineers while improving the efficiency of service delivery. Using a Tilde intelligent MI conversational solution, an engineer with limited experience in a particular measurement area can independently and correctly perform the measurement process. The MMI solution provides step-by-step guidance to LNMC employees as part of the measurement process, automates data input and generates required documents.
As part of the test project, one type of measurement scenario, pressure measurements, is tested. Outlining and indexing the knowledge base submitted by the client. The solution analyzes the chosen methodology document and converts it into a structured set of instructions with sequential steps that the engineer must take to perform the correct measurement and fixation. After data entry, the solution generates a measurement protocol and certificate.
LNMC staff are trained in using the solution and supplementing the knowledge base so that the Centre can independently further develop the knowledge base.
The implementation of the solution is well underway, as evidenced by feedback from LNMC employees. Experience gained during the trial demonstrates that technology can bring significant improvements:
- reduce the human factor error rate;
- speed up the execution of works;
- improve the quality of training;
- optimize costs.
The service is provided on the EDIC project: support for digitisation and development of artificial intelligence in Latvia '(No. 2.2.1.1.i.0/1/23/I/CFLA/001) and is financed within the framework of the Recovery and resilience Mechanism Plan.
With the resources of the European Union Recovery and resilience Mechanism, and ALTUM support, we have implemented the project “supply and installation of solar electricity production equipment in the limited liability company “Latvian national Metrology Centre” (LNMC) on the roof of the building on Krisjana Valdemara Street 157, Riga”.
Objective of the project: introduction of solar technologies for self-consumption.
Total budget of the project EUR 77415.58, EU co-financing EUR 18270.97.
