On the maintenance of State participation in the limited liability company “national Metrology Centre of Latvia” and the overall strategic objective
According to Cabinet order No. 505 of 25.08.2020
On the basis of Sections 4 and 7 of the Law on the Management of capital shares and capital companies of a public person and Section 88, Paragraph one, Clause 1 of the State Administration equipment Law:
- Maintain State participation in the limited liability company “Latvian national Metrology Centre” (registration No. 40003435328).
- To determine the general strategic objective of the limited liability company “Latvian national Metrology Centre” – to perform reliable and high-precision measurements, as well as to ensure the metrological services necessary for the society, promoting the development of innovations and ensuring the availability of metrological services appropriate to market needs.
- Declare invalid Cabinet order No. 387 of 13 July 2016 on the general strategic objective of the limited liability company “Latvian national Metrology Centre” (Latvian Vestnesis, 2016, No. 134).

• Manufacturers and users of force measurement systems • laboratories where transducers work with different indicators • cases where a transducer characteristic curve mV/V against force is required.
As a result, you receive a calibration certificate with an exact mV/V match for each load point.

Seminar “Standard ISO/IEC 17043:2023 and accreditation requirements for skill test organisers”
Let us know that: 30.06.2025 from 14:00 to 16:00, LATMB organises an online (MS Team) seminar “Standard ISO/IEC 17043:2023 and accreditation requirements for skill test organisers”. Objective: to raise awareness among conformity assessment bodies (HEIs) of the requirements of standard 17043:2023 and other applicable documents to demonstrate compliance with accreditation requirements.
Target audience: ANI, organisers of proficiency checks and interlaboratory comparisons and technical evaluators.
As part of the workshop, it is planned to provide an insight into the main changes to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043:2023 compared to those of ISO/IEC 17043:2010, as well as an explanation of the requirements of ILAC, EA and LATAK documents and their application by organising proficiency tests or inter-laboratory comparisons.
