Daugavpils department in the activity is guided by requirements of the Law of the Latvian Republic “About unity of measurements”, rules of the Minister Cabinet and international standards and recommendations.
Daugavpils department constantly realizes the effective maintenance program of quality performance of verification and calibration of measuring instruments:
- Maintenance of high condition level of the working standards reproducing the sizes of units, transferred from the international standards;
- The experts’ competence, constant increase of their knowledge and a professional level;
- Maintenance of a high level of the actualization fund of the normative and methodical documentation;
- Internal quality checks of carried out works.
