Laboratory of Thermotechnical Measurement consists of two sections:

Section of Physical-Chemical Measurement performs verification and/or calibration of
- Optical measuring instruments;
- Viscosity and density measuring instruments;
- Exhaust gas analysers.
- Section of Temperature and Flow Measurement performs verification and/or calibration of
- Heat meters;
- Water consumption meters;
- Glass thermometers;
- Resistance and electronic thermometers;
- Thermocouples.
On 5 May 2003 the laboratory has obtained accreditation from Latak (accreditation number K-254-02):
- ptotoelectric colorimeters measuring the transmission of light;
- spectrofotometers measuring the absorbtion and transmission of light;
- refractometers measuring the refractive index;
In March, 2005 an application to the LATAK for the laboratory assessment in the water meter, flow and heat meter scope will be submitted.
